a. Note:   Archie E. Wyatt Retired from Piedmont Gas
 Archie Elliott Wyatt, 83, of 118 N. Oliver St., died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center.
 Mr. Wyatt was the husband of Ann Batchler Wyatt of the home and was first married to the late Olivine Nash Wyatt. He was the son of the late Tom and Annie Burgess Wyatt and was retired from Piedmont Natural Gas. He was currently associated with Willards Hash and Barbecue and was a World War II veteran and member of the VFW and American Legion.
 Also surviving are a daughter, Jackie Wyatt Simmons and husband, Billy, of Gaffney; a son, Steven E. Wyatt and wife, Leslie, of Columbia; two grandchildren, Scott and Katie Simmons; and a sister, Ruth Wyatt Weathers of Pacolet.
 In addition to his parents and first wife, Mr. Wyatt was preceded in death by brothers, Arthur Wyatt, Clarence Wyatt, Ernest Wyatt, Jake Wyatt, Lewis Wyatt, Tommie Wyatt and Winford Wyatt.
 Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Stuart Kersey.
 Pallbearers will be Phil Fowler, Thomas Wyatt, Jerry Wyatt, Dennis Wyatt, David Wyatt, Tony Wyatt and Tim Wyatt.
 The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 at White Columns of Gaffney and at other times they will be at the home, and at the home of his daughter, 116 Carter Heights Drive
