a. Note:   tson Buckner. He was a retired machine operator for Blue Ridge Carpet Mills, a veteran of WWII serving with the US Navy and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. His wife Ethel Moss Buckner precedes him in death.
  Survivors include: Children and spouses: Ernest and Charlene Buckner, Jr, Jimmy Buckner, Kenneth and Debra Buckner, William and Linda Buckner, Mildred and Charles Lacey, Louise Buckner all of Ellijay, Mary and Garvin Vick, Talking Rock, Annie Mae and Tommy Carver, Talking Rock 14 grandchildren 31 great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 13,2010 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Banks officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Church Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will meet with friends Monday from 10:00am until 9:00pm. At the funeral home.
Note:   Mr. Buckner was born December 12, 1921 in Gilmer Co the son of the late Harm and Elizabeth Do
