Continued:   The Spartanburg Herald, Spartanburg, S.C., February 28, 1969 Mrs. Blakely Union - Mrs. Victoria Burgess Blakely, 101, of Route 1, died 12:45 a.m. Thursday in Wallace Thomson Hospital after a brief illness. Native of York County; daughter of the late James and Frances Lipsey Burgess; member of Gilead Baptist Church. Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Joe Palmer, Mrs. Norman Keisler, Mrs. Claude Turner and Mrs. Yancy Meadows, all of Union; sons J.W. and L.A. both of Union, Wallace of Macon, Ga.; 23 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Services 3 Saturday at Gilead Baptist Church by the Revs. John Griffith, J.W. Parham, and James Hawsey; burial in church cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Body at home of daughter, Mrs. Palmer, on Second Street in Ottaray after 11 today. S. R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
