Thursday in Rest Haven Nursing Home after long illness. Daughter of the late J. B. and Jane Vaughn Burgess; member of Providence Baptist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Harmon celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary Feb 23. Also surviving: sons, James Edward Harmon, Atlanta, Ken- neth S. Harmon of Graham, N. C.; daughters, Mrs. Grace Smith, Rutherfordton, Mrs. Louise Smith, Lymon, Mrs. Pearl Brown, Mrs. Margaret Holleman, both of Seneca, Mrs.Inez Reed, of West Columbia, Mrs. Gladys Bell, Mrs. Blanche Surratt, both of Gaffney, Mrs. Rozelle Fortenberry of Shelby; brothers, Paul Burgess, Gaffney, Guy Burgess, of Chesnee; sister, Mrs. E.
