C., May 4 1951 Mrs. Trammell Union -- Mrs. Amanda Burgess Trammell, 70, died at her home on Hart Street Extension Thursday morning at 9 after a brief illness. Mrs. Trammell had lived in Union her entire life and was a member of Green Street Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 4:30 at the chapel at the new Edgar-B----n-Bailey Funeral Home. The Revs S. B. White and James D. Gu--dge will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. Survivors include: two sons, Paul Trammell of Spartanburg and Boyd Trammell of Union; one daughter, Mrs. LeRoy Meador of Union; four sisters, Mrs. J. J. Coodsey, Mrs. H. H. Willard, Mrs. Will Parks and Mrs. Claude Finley, all of Union and one grandson. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The body will remain at her home until 2:30 Friday when it will be placed in the Chapel to await the hour of service.
