Native of Union County; daughter of the late James Morgan and Zelma Fowler Burgess; member of Duncan Acres United Methodist Church; retired from United Merchants and Manufacturing Co. Surviving: daughter, Mrs. James Quinn of Union; sister, Mrs. Norman Mitchell of Union. Services 4:30 today at Duncan Acres United Methodist Church by the Revs. James L. Hall, C. W. McNair and J. M. Copeland; burial in Union Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Newton Pridemore, Marlon Bailey, Robert Crocker, Ezelle Hughey, D. V. Lawson, Floyd Farr, Marion and Jimmy Ashford; the Mary Lybrand Sunday School Class will serve as honorary escort. Brown-Bolton-Jolly Mortuary.
