 Thomas, followed his brother David to the Conestoga Valley in 1721, jointly settling 1,000 acres located 1.2 miles northwest of David's land. Something occasioned both brothers to sever their ties to
 the Conestoga valley in the same year, 1737; perhaps it was the death of Rees Preecs. Thomas moved in 1737 to the East Hanover
 location. According to the abstracts of wills for the part of Lancaster County that later became Dauphin County, Thomas "Preece ... of Derry" died in 1759, "leaving a wife Mary, and children: Johanna, Thomas, Joseph, David, Richard, Hannah, Mary, and Elizabeth. Executors werewife and son Thomas" (Runk & Co., 1896, page 68)
 The timing of Thomas' land transaction sale suggest that Thomas and Mary's children sold their inherited land holdings as a
 package [Gary Glen Price information].
