Notes
a. Note:   These notes were taken from the internet, genealogy.com/Family Tree Maker Robert and his wife hid escaped slaves in their cellar while waiting for transportation North. They as Abolishonists helped many slaves find passage North. The Sharps lived in Iowa until 1900 then they moved to Bismark, North Dakota. In 1902 they moved to Wilton, North Dakota on a homestead. The Homestead was sold in 1914 and they moved again to Valley City, North Dakota and from there they moved into Iron River, Wisconsin where they celebrated their Golden Wedding Aniversary. Then finally to Richland Center, Wisconsin where they spent the remainder of their days.
