  In 1880 census, he is shown as Nelson Nixon. He is in Dist. 9, DesMoines, Boone Co. His occupation is coal miner. Son Charles Eugene(Eugene)is shown as age 2 and Lenore Mary (Mary) is shown as 10 monthsold.
