Notes
a. Note:   -West (Nebraska) and the state of Washington very effectively, retiring in 1963 to continue as Associate Minister in the University Temple in Seattle. My father Ken has given me lots of memories and mementos to remember him by. I have his kane back swivel office chair that he used when he wrote sermons. I also remember him holding me on his lap and twerling around in that. My dad said that when they lived in Nebraska that my dad was a singing Evangelist and traveled the whole state singing for several years. Also on Sundays he would travel to several small congregations giving the sermons and making it to two or 3 every Sunday. He would greet all of his grandchildren, scoop us up and then whisker burn us to show his love.
He died the 24 of March 1974 in the Virginia Mawson Hospital, Seattle, King, WA. He had suffered a heart attack March 13 and on the 20th suffered a stroke that left him unconscious and paralysed.
I have the office chair that he used to have in his office where he wrote his sermons. I also have a piece of fence that he remembers helping his great grandfather make when he was 5 years old. He returned as an adult to the family farm and after getting permission to walk around, the owners wife presented him with this burned remnant of a fence post. She had no idea what made her save it but my father gave it to me and I treasure it to this day. I also remember as a small child sitting on his lap in this office chair and having him spin me around in it.
Note:   Robert W Pruitt, my grandfather wa an ordained Methodist Minister, served churches in the Mid
