Harry moved to Los Gatos and was a grocer with his brother Albert until his death in October, 1903. His mother died a few years before he did. His widow, Alice Annette lived for 40 more years. She moved back to San Francisco until the 1920's when she moved back to Los Gatos.
At some time, Harry and his brother Albert E. bought 64 acres off Bear Creek Road in the Santa Cruz mountains. At Harry's death, Alice Annette inherited his half share which she left to her two surviving children, Estelle and George Doud Edwards. George's 1/4 share was left to his wife, Laura and was purchased by Dwight E. Teall. Albert E. evidently left his half to his daughter Bertha. Dwight bought her half share as well.
From the obituary in the San Jose Daily M (word missing) October 20, 1903
LOS GATOS, OCT. 19 - Yesterday afternoon St. Lukes Episcopal Church was packed to its utmost capacity with friends and acquaintances of the late Harry B. Edwards, who has come from far and near to pay their last token of love and respect, and to mingle with the sorrowing ones, tears of regret and grief. A very great number of friends were obliged to remain upon the porch and in the yard of the edifice, as the seating capacity of the church and even standing room was entirely insufficient to accommodate the large number present.
During the morning the remains had been in the home and many friends had viewed for the last time the face so dear to them The members of the A.O.U.M. in a body had arrived at the home just before the cortege started for the church, and looked upon the face of their brother, who had been so active in the society, and done so much to forward its interests.
