  The WW Dowd book placed them in California at some time and Myra Kilby's obituary stated that it was for 15 years. This would have been that period. A Civil War pension to Ferdinand showed they were in San Francisco in 1883 so they could have had a real family reunion with Aaron's and Philo's families.
