Kilby, 96 years old, the last Civil War widow in Clinton, died at 2:30 o'clock this morning in the home of her son and w'ife, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Kilby. Mrs. Kilby was born in Clinton and lived here all her life except 15 years spent in California. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal church, the Woman's Guild, and was the organizer of the Daughters of St. John's arid took an active part in church work as long as her health permitted. Mrs. Kilby also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and an honorary member of the Clinton Woman's club. She is survived by two sons, Frank of Adrian, and Edgar of Clinton: five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her husband, Edgar Kilby. died in 1913 and a daughter died at the age of six years. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Hause Funeral Home and the burial will be in Riverside cemetery. The Rev. John R. Scarlett of Tecumseh will officiate. Kilby Special to The Telegram CLINTON, March 10 � The funeral of Mrs. Myra S. Kilby who died Tuesday morning was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Hause Funeral Home. The Rev. John R. Scarlett of Tecumseh officiated. The bearers were Clyde McDermott, Clyde Way, Frank McDermott, Lynn Lindsley, Clyde Greenfield and Frank Giiman, members of the American Legion.
