a. Note:   I found Clarence J. Sirbaugh's name first listed in the 1880 US Federal Census. It states he was born in W.VA. and that his parents were born in Virginia.
 The 1910 US Federal Census shows Clarence and Rose Sirbaugh living at 427 Spruce Street in Alleghany County, Md. along with three of their children, Nita (4 yrs), Ira(1-11/2 yrs), and Nellie (8mths). It confirms that Clarence and Rose were born in W. VA., as were their parents. They had been married for 5 years. The census also states that Clarence was a Carpenter and that he was able to read and write.
