Notes
a. Note:   Date of birth from her headstone. Conflicting birth info:
 * She was born in Schoharie County (Death Record). Possible, there are 2 CARPENTER HOHs in Schoharie Co in 1820. Burton and John. Not clear is Burton had a daughter the right age (1 over 0). John has a girl the right age.
 * She was born in Albany County (Obituary). Possible, there were 4 CARPENTER HOHs in Albany Co in 1820.
 * She was born in NY (1850 census)
 * She was born in NY (1860 census)
 * She was born in PA (1865 Census). Ditto marks for PA - may have been an error. 75 CARPENTERs in PA in 1800.
 * She was born in NY (1880 census for son Akin)
 * She was born in NY (1880 census for son Jabez)
  WHO WAS HER FATHER?
I suspect he was born 1750-1760 if he is the old man age 80-90 living with son-in-law Charles DIBBLE in 1850.
She is NOT the Catherine who was the daughter of John Carpenter who died 1815 in Sandford, Dutchess, NY. That Catherine was only a couple of months old when he wrote his will and died when she was only 6 mo old.
Possible daughter of Samuel CARPENTER and Samantha MEAD. He died 22 Feb 1816 in Stanford, Dutchess, NY leaving three daughters: Anna, Catherine, Amelia.
Catherine's father is not Henry CARPENTER of Middleburgh, Schoharie, NY who signed his will 26 Feb 1881. He does name a Catherine but is his wife, not daughter.
Catherine's father is not Caleb CARPENTER of Schoharie, Schoharie, NY who signed his will 26 11 Aug 1871. He names three daughters (Emma, Omelia, and Maria), but none are a Catherine.
  1820

j. Note:   Where is she?
k. Note:   ed the surname BRINK. What was Mr BRINK's first name?
It cannot be William BRINK (born 1792). He married Jane (born (1788). They appear in the 1850 census but he is dead by 1855 and she is living with her nephew. Obviously, he could not have remarried Catherine. Could this also be the William Brink buried in Milford Cemetery, Milford, Pike, PA (1789-1853)? Milford, PA is only 111 miles from Windsor, NY.
Here are all of the BRINKs on SAMBUPCO who left a will in Broome Co.
