Note:   Israel is not in the 1930. Anna is a widow and living with her daughter B
d. Note:   ids came in 1904. He was not yet naturalized in 1910 but his papers were filed. Israel and Anna had 5 children living with them (Sadie, 14; Ida, 12; Dora, 10; Charles, 5; and Bessie, 5 mo). According to the 1910, a 6th living child is not living with them (which I find dubious) and a 7th child died before 1910. Israel is a painter but worked only 15 weeks in 1909 and rented their home. They sound poor. Anna speaks only Yiddish. They lived at 680 E 95th St in Yorkville (upper east side). Grandma Sally lived there several years later and told me it was a German neighborhood.
