Notes
a. Note:   iot Index (685) and Beachcamp (523), although they do not name her parents, nor cite a marriage record. Others call her Rachel CHURCH including DAR member Olive Hamilton Johnson's letter (002) and daughter Sabrina's death record (046).
After searching for years, I have not found a marriage record for David Hamilton and Rachel, but I suspect that her parents are likely Elias CHURCH and Elizabeth BERRY of Kent, Litchfield, CT for the following reasons:
 1) They had a daughter named Rachel born 26 Dec 1765 in Danbury, Fairfield, CT.
 2) The 1765 date is close to other evidence:
 * Her headstone (238) suggests that she was born ~1769 (died in 1832 age 63.
 * The 1810 census says she was born between about 1765 and 1784 (237).
 * The 1820 census says she was born between before 1775 (863). * The 1830 census says she was born between about 1770 and 1779 (860).
 * In the 1880 census, Rachel's daughter Harriet says her mother and father were born in CT (841). In the same census, Rachel's daughter Sabrina says both of her parents born in MA, but because her father was certainly born in CT, doubt is cast on MA as a place of birth for Rachel.
 3) Kent is adjacent to the town of Sharon, where husband David Hamilton was born.
However, if this is true, she would have to be about 40 when she married first. Maybe I need to rethink this.
Note:   Most published sources call her Rachel CHURCHILL including the DAR Patr
