f. Note:   laim that Marcus and Nancy were married on 20 Mar 1835. I possess the ORIGINAL which shows that they were married a day earlier on 19 Mar 1835 (190). I found that certificate inside the SWART/FRISBIE family bible (8). The certificate appears to be issued by a church, perhaps Presbyterian. They would name their only son Cyrus. Cyrus was not only the name of Marcus' brother but the minister who performed the ceremony, Reverend Cyrus (Meeker?).
