Notes
a. Note:   Known as Flem, is known to have owned and operated a fishing boat in the West Bay area of FL. Flem's operation was a family run endeavor with family members serving as the crew. Bulah, Flems daughter, is said to secure one end of the sein net by diving into the water and securing one end with a pole. Uncle Jordan, Flems brother, was noted as being the cook on board. It has been said that Uncle Jordan was taken ill while in Florida and returned to Georgia to die, he was very determined not to die Florida. However, Uncle Jordan returned to good health and lived out his years in Georgia.
It has also been passed on that Flem had a side buissness as a barber on the weekends in the West Bay area.
The above information was passed on to me by Johnny McCathy, via his father Jordan, Cochran GA., Tue 26 Sept 1995. Bruce N. Rawls
