Note: Velma was a kind gentle spirit who always had a smile on her face and kind things to say. As a child, I went to visit her at her house which had lots of candles in it. Rumor had it that Freddie, her husband who had died years back didn't trust the bank and had hid money all over the house. Jan remember's asking her aunt Velma if there really was money hidden in the grandfather clock, behind the wallpaper, and in the mattress. Aunt Velma said with a twinkle in her eye "Oh, you never know, you just never know about what Freddie might have been up to".
