He also left a sapphire ring to him. ********************** Troy Free Press October 9, 1903 Wallace Noel, son of W.D. noel, formerly of this place, but for several years a resident of Lebanon, committed suicide in St. Louis last Friday by drinking carbolic acid. The young man was 28 years old and committed the act while in a state of mental depression caused by his inability to quit the liquor habit. His father and mother went to school here along in the 60's. The latter was a sister to Charlie Williams, who went from here to St. Louis a few years ago.
