Per Isabelle Her mother befriended Elsie Vandergriff and helped her go to school and she never forgot that kindness so when Isabell went to University of Missouri. She sent her clothes and $50 a month while she was in college. Isabell went home during a break and Elsie unpacked all these clothes and told her friend to stop as they could not afford to dress her in that style and her future husband would not be able to either. So she sent Isabell a Ukele and a Hawaain doll Nancy McMullen still has.
She met Steve on a picnic, he was driving a Rio and it had flower vases on the side and she was so impressed with him. Sandy is a lot like Steve. He went to U of Wyo then on to U of Nebraska.
