Note: Freeport Journal, Armstrong Co., Pennsylvania, Friday, June 3, 1921 Clara Belle, wife of William H. Beckett, died at her home in Boggsville, Saturday, May 28th, 1921, aged 47 years, 7 months. 3 days. She had been ill some time but her death came quite unexpected. She was a member of the Slate Lick Presbyterian church where she attended until her illness prevented. Hers was a beautiful Christian character, a sunny disposition, and she was loved by all who knew her. Her home was a model of neatness and always open hospitality to relatives, friends or strangers. She married William Beckett 26 years ago and this union was blessed with one child, Wilda Belle. Besides her husband and daughter, her loss is mourned by her mother, Mrs. Rachel Baker, a sister, Mrs. John Beckett, and five brothers, Louis, Herman, Addison, George and Walter Baker, also a wide circle of other relatives and friends. The funeral services were held at her home, Monday, May 30th, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Dodds, of the Slate Lick Presbyterian church. The interment was in the new cemetery at Slate Lick.
