NOTE: Died at 1:24 PM at home, in the presence of Christine, John and Sarah
Langner. Diagnosed with Pleural Effusion in March, the fluid, when drained from her chest cavity, proved to contain cancer cells. A course of four chemotherapy treatments ensued which at first appeared to help control the fibrous tumors in her lungs, but in the end the tumors continued to grow. She failed rapidly after that. She was forced to put Dad into a nursing home when she could no longer take care of him at home, but decided to remain in her home, under Christine's care, until the end. She was buried alongside Dad in a double ceremony.
