  1860 Census for Chambers Co., AL, James is 39 years old, a farmer, with a real estate value of $1,000 and a personal value of $2,500. He has one slave. Wife 'Louisa" is 39 years, born in AL.   The book recording what appears to be his tombstone, incorrectly (I think) lists his birth date as March 3, 1813.
