 WALKER
 George Wesley "G.W." Walker, 79, formerly of Fountain Inn, husband of Ruth Thompson Walker, died Feb. 22, 1989, at Abbeville County Memorial Hospital.
  Born in Abbeville, he was a son of the late Chesley Burton and Ella Mae Beagle Walker. He was a retired supervisor of Bloomsburg Mill, a Mason and a member of Pisgah Methodist Church in Fountain Inn.
  Surviving are widow; daughter, Trudy Cox of Spartanburg; sons, Billy Walker of Fountain Inn, Ricky Walker of Greenwood and Melvin Walker of Rock Hill; sister, Mrs. Mamie W. Porter of Abbeville; brother, Harold Walker of Knoxville, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
  Services were Friday at Harris Funeral Home Chapel by the Revs. Forest Mixon and John Tucker. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.
