Note: The Greenville News Friday, October 27, 2006 Bill Walker Fountain Inn Chesley Burton "Bill" Walker, 74, widower of Pauline "Polly" Thompson Walker, of 104 Terry Road, died Thursday, October 26, 2006, in the loving embrace of his family at his home. Mr. Walker was born February 24, 1932 in Abbeville, to the late George Wesley Walker and Ruth Loutrell Thompson Walker. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam. He also retired as a rural mail carrier with the U.S. Post Office in Fountain Inn. Surviving are a son, Jeff Walker and his wife, Karen of Fountain Inn; two brothers, Melvin Walker and his wife, Carol of Rock Hill, and Ricky Walker and his wife, Brenda of Greenwood; a sister, Trudy Cox and her husband, Ted of Simpsonville; and two grandchildren, Courtney and Andrew Walker. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Cryptside services, with full military honors, will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Cannon Memorial Mausoleum, officiated by Rev.
