Notes
a. Note:   "1800 CENSUS OF ABBEVILLE DISTRICT:
Solomon is shown with a wife older than he, and a girl of age 11-15. Since Solomon was about 25-26 years old in 1800, I strongly doubt that he is the Father of this girl unless he fathered her at age 12. Since Catherine is older than 45 years in 1800, I strongly suspect that Solomon married a widow who had a daughter at home. These are Solomon's Huguenot neighbors in 1800:
 1. Peter Ingevine, old man.
 2. William Pettigrew, age 25-45.
 3. Uel Hill, old man, b. Virginia, (Ren Bradley's Uncle, from LONG CANE LIST.)
 4. William Cain, age 25-45.
 5. George Banks, age 25-45.
 6. Joseph Stricklin, age 25-45.
 7. Moses Carr, age 25-45.
 8. Moses Carr, age 25-45.
 9. James Walker, age 25-45, probably Solomon's brother.
 10. Solomon Walker, age 25-45.
 11. Richard Beasley, age 15-25.
 12. John Travis, old man, older than 45.
Usually the bride's family can be found close by. Find a rich Widow in 1790's with a daughter and you have her. Find out who owned the land they lived on before Solomon came along and you probably have Catherine's first husband."

SUBMITTED BY "BILL WALKER [email protected]@postoffice.swbell.net":
 "1820 Abbeville census Solomon Walker is shown with these 6 males: 1 (under age 10), 2 (ages 10-16), 1 (16-18), 1 (16-26) and 1 (26-45). There are really only 5 males because there would be a duplication of the 16-18 bracket. There are 5 females: 3 (under 10), 1 (16-26) and 1 (26-45)."
 ---------------------------------------------------------------
So, from my calculations, Solomon Walker had 8 children before 1820. He had 2 children that we know of after 1820, so this makes a total of 10 children for Solomon. He did not show up on the 1810 census in Abbeville, unless it is recorded in another name. We do not know FULL name of Solomon Walker.
  MALES:
 1 Under 10 = 1810-1820 = UNKNOWN.
 2 Between 10-16 years = 1820-1804 = SAMUEL & SANDERS.
 1 Between 16-26 years = 1804-1794 = RICHARD.
 1 Between 26-45 years = 1794-1775 = Solomon Walker.
  FEMALES:
 3 Under 10 = = 1810-1820 = MARGARET, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN.
 1 Between 16-26 years = 1804-1794 = LUCINDA.
 1 Between 26-45 years = 1794-1775 = Wife of Solomon.
NOTE: BURTON C., and ELIZABETH were not born before 1820, so this makes a total of 10 children.

The WALKER family is large and married into the DEASON and EDMUNDS families of Sandy Branch. The Carroll family lived across the road."
