  OBIT: C.E. LOGGINS, 83, PAID FINAL TRIBUTE FRIDAY AFTERNOON
  Charleston E. Loggins, 83, well-known Jackson County Farmer, and the father of George M. Loggins, of Gainesville, died Thursday at the residence following a prolonged illness.
  He was born in Forsyth County, but had made his home in Jackson County for more than 50 years where he took an active interest in civic and religious affiars. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon from the Center Grove Church, the Rev. L.P. McNeal, assisted by Rev. J. A. Miller, officiating. Interment was in the churchyard.
  He is survived by five sons, Hope E. Loggins, of Jefferson, J.B. Loggins of Lawrenceville, Charles I. Loggins, of Jackson County, William R. Loggins, of Dahlonega, and George M. Loggins, of Gainesville, and a daughter, Mrs. J. D. Reed, of Adel.
