  Oak Grove Sabbath Scholl met April the 29, 1888. Read the 5 chapter of Mathew. Prayer by G. W. Sims. Students 23. Sabbath School elected Bro. W.H. Thompson Supertindant of said school the remainder of the term Bro. J. S. Owen. He is retiring on account of court changed the sabbath School from 9, o'clock AM to. 2 o'clock. P.M.

  Met May the 6, 1888. Supertindant present. Sabbath opened by reading and prayer by the Supertindant. Called the roll and then read the second chapter of John. It was moved that the Sabbath School be more fully organized by having four classes to, 2 of male and 2 of Female and that the Supt appoint Teachers over Said classes.
  Met May 13, 1888. Supertindant present. Sabbath School opened by reading and prayer by J. B. Harrington. First read and confirmed the minutes of last meeting. Second called the role. Supt. appointed teachers. Read the third chapter of John. Adjourned to meet Next Sunday Evening at half past two o'clock. W. H. Thompson Supt.

Appointed Bro Thompson teacher of the first Male Class. June 21, 1891. Female Class of 25 included Mrs. D. A. Thompson, Mrs. A. M. Cook, Mrs. J. M. Cook, Mrs. M. M. Thompson, and Miss M. P. Thompson. Sabbath School Schollars for 1891 (No date on this record.) W. H. Thompson Supt. Fifty-six students included J. M. Thompson, James A. Cook, D. A. Thompson, John Cook, A. Cook, A. M. Cook, Mrs. D. A. Thompson and Miss M. P. Thompson.
  Minutes for 1892-1895 are not on microfilm. When they resume in 1896 there is no mention of Thompsons or Cooks. Both families probably moved to other communities.
