Withers, of 567 North Queen street, Lancaster, retired, was stricken with a heart attack at his home on Saturday morning and died on the way to the Lancaster General Hospital in an ambulance. Dr. Harold K. Hogg, Deputy Coroner, rendered a certificate of death due to heart trouble. Mr. Withers, who was in his 74th year, formerly lived in Parkesburg, where he was at one time employed with the Parkesburg Iron Company. For a number of years he was a laborer on the old Parkesburg wreck train of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company and resided for twenty-seven years in the home of Mrs. Aldus Ressel, on First avenue. He was a member of St. John�s Episcopal Church and is survived only by his brother, Thos. Withers, who resided with him in his home. Funeral services were held this morning at the Groff Funeral Home, with interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster.
