a. Note:   1870 Census indicates Martha's brother J. P. 15 and sister E. C. 13 was living with them.
b. Note:   a married William Roland Stagner on 26 Dec 1859. 6 children born to this union. Martha came to Texas in the 1880's and settled in Gatesville, TX with her husband. She traveled to Ft. Worth to visit her son John Stagner and passed away after a brief illness. Before a headstone was placed Mr. Stagner died in June 1899 and is buried at the Bethel Cemetery on the grounds of Ft. Hood near Kileen, TX. Martha is buried in Block 1 - space 5 of the Old City Cemetery, located in the Oakwood Cemetery, Ft. Worth, TX.
Note:   Martha C. Carney, daughter of Richard Carney and Julia Ann Robertson. She married William Pleasant Parker 25 Nov 1855, Dent Co., MO. James Pleasant Parker and Elizabeth Caroline Parker were born to this union. Mr. Parker died before 1859 and Marth
