Note: Born about the time Eugene Sullivan and William Taylor co-invented Pyrex in New York City and radios tuners were invented that received different stations. This obit was my mother's and my best friend: Funeral service for Isa Sea Young was April 23, 2011 at Dent County Memorial Chapel, Salem, with Ken Fiebelman officiating. Music was provided by recorded selections. Interment was in New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul Brake, James Brake, Charles Kleine, David Brake, Valerie Callahan and J.J. Tune. Mrs. Young was born January 22, 1920 in Texas County to John Perry and Minnie (Mooney) Fagan. She married Floyd Young February 15, 1941. They were the parents of one daughter. Mrs. Young died April 19, 2011 in Salem at the age of 91 years, two months and 28 days. Survivors include her daughter, Beverly Callahan, St. Clair; brother, John Fagan; two granddaughters, Kim Brake, Beaufort; and Valerie Callahan, O'Fallon, Ill.; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; and a great-grandson, John Adam Brake. Mrs. Young was of the Baptist faith.
