  Edmund met Lorinda at a photograph studio at Peckville,PA. that he was working in when Lorinda came in. ,She was having a hard time walking in a new pair of shoes she had bought, he made fun of her and told her if she had bought her shoes to fit she would not have such a hard time walking. Soon after that they started dating and fell in love.
 Edmund and Lorinda were married in her home at Peckville,PA., her brother and sister in law were the best man and brides maid, Fred Jones and Anna Dailey. After the wedding they left for Monrose,Susq.PA. where Dad worked as a Photographer, Dad later owned his own Studio at Tunkhannock,Wyo.,PA. He also served as a Justice of the Peace at Lake Winola,Wyo.,PA/ He worked for the PA State Highway Dept., After losing his job, in 1940, he worked with the WPA, Supervising the new roads that were being blacktop at Factoryvile,Wyo.,PA. 1941 he took a job with the Army Corp of Engineers, where he retired in 1966. Moving from Baltimore,MD to Aberdeen,MD.
