Note: William Henry Kempsell OBI=Scranton Tribune, Scranton, PA W.H. Kempsell buried with Masonic Service, Photographers Honorary bearers at Funeral of Proprietor of United Photo Studio, Leading Photog., of the city together with a large delegations of Masons, Churchmen and Throngs of Family,Relatives attended the Funeral of W. H. Kempsell of Scranton,PA. Who died following a brief illness. Mr. Kempsell was one of the highly respected businessmen of West Scranton. Who through his square dealings made for himself a legion of friends who join with the family in morning his death. The attendance at the funeral, was a testimonial to his work in the community., flowers filled the room of the home in which the body reposed. At 2 PM a brief service was held at the residence, after which the funeral cortege moved to St. Davids Episcopal Church, where another service was held by Rev Geo. Archer, Rector. the Choir sang a number of Hymns., forming a square in Washburn Streed Cemetery, a Masonic service was given at the grave by members of Hype Park Lodge No. 309. The Honorary casket bearer were J.B. Schriver, Frank Hornbaker, Thomas Cosgrove, Harry Baroff, Bernard Golden, Al Brust, Active bearer, Earl Held, George Eib, Wendell Evans, James Powell, David Price, James Smith, the flowers were carried by Jay Bartron, David Holdsworth, Gus Hensel, William Preiffer, George Payne, William Harrison and Arthur Thompson.
