  William A. Jones, 20 year resident of Swift County, died Thursday evening, Dec 2, at 4:20 at the Swift County Hospital of glandular cancer after an illness of one month.
 Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be held at the farm house on Saturday December 4 at 1:30 PM and at First Baptist Church in Benson at 2:30 PM.
 William A. Jones was born in Gowri, Marion County, Iowa on April 3, 1889.The son of Stephen Douglas Jones and Rachael Ada Stevens.
 On February 17, 1914 united in marriage with Mary E. Nelson at Winterset, Iowa and farmed there until he moved to Swift County in 1928. He lived near Appleton 2 years and then moved to Benson.
 Preceded in death by one grand daughter, Bette Anne Goff.
