Notes
a. Note:   Fran Hodgson, superintendent of sub assembly and final assembly, this week (December, 30, 1955) became the 23rd and last Texas Divisioner to receive a 15 year service pin this year. Another distinction: Hodgson probably is the only 15-year man who transferred here from Buffalo and has never been back, even for a brief visit. He came to the Texas Division in March 1951, as general production foreman of Model 47 flight test and was instrumental in setting up the Globe assembly line. Although a native of New York State, Hodgson said that "I have had no occasion or desire to go back. I like it here." In that, he said, his wife and five children-one a natural born Texan- fully agree. Hodgson first started as an assembly inspector on the Airacobra in 1940. In 1941 he became a flight line inspector and in 1942 was promoted to supervisor of flight inspection, a spot he held until 1945 when he became an inspector in experimental. Hodgson moved over to production as assistant foreman on the Model 47B helicopter in 1946. Fran Hodgson was a professional golfer, first golf pro for Dunlop Tire and Rubber in New York.
He also played golf with the great Ben Hogan and won.
