ANNA UTHE
ORLAND PARK - Mrs. Anna Uthe,
81, died Aug.16 in Arlington Heights
where she had been a resident of the
Lutheran Home for the Aged.
Mrs. Uthe was the wife of the late
Herman Uthe and mother of Ellsworth,
Harold and the late Alvin Uthe; grand-
mother of nine and great grandmother
of 15. She was the sister of Bertha
Nicolai, Gust and Paul Oelke.
Services were held at the Lutheran
Home Saturday morning, Aug. 18, and
that afternoon at the Christ Evangelical
Church, Orland Park, with the Rev.
Walter Ledogar officiating. Burial was
in the Christ Evangelical Lutheran
Cemetery.

Anna Uthe, beloved wife of the late
Herman; dear mother of Ellsworth [Lu-
cile], Harold [Shirley] and the late Al-
vin Uthe; grandmother of nine; great-
grandmother of 15; sister of Bertha Nic-
olai, Gust and Paul Oelke. Resting at
Lutheran Home and Service for the Aged
Chapel, 800 W. Oakton St., Arlington
Heights, where services will be held 10:30
a.m. Saturday. Visitation 4 to 9 p.m.
Friday. Will lie in state at Christ Ev.
Lutheran Church, 94th Ave. at 147th St.,
Orland Park, from 1 p.m. Saturday until
time of service at 2 p.m. Interment
Christ Ev. Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, contributions to the Lutheran
Home appreciated, 253-0168.
