  Note: The 1870 US census lists her age as 43, which would make the birth
 year about 1827. Prussia was listed as the country of birth. Also of
 interest is that in that same census year, only a few dwellings away, was
 a family listed as "Raimer". That is the same sounding as the German
 spelling of Roemer.

 it was taken from the 1910 census that identified her as mother Anna age
 81
 born Germany March 1836. That should help put this in the right place
 now. My

c. Note:   The 1870 census recorded Anna's age as 43, which calculates to about a 1937 birth year.
