She came to Wisconsin when about two years of age, where she grew to womanhood. On March 26, 1879, she was united in marriage to John Ethridge, they having spent the 60th wedding anniversary together.
The deceased leaves to mourn, her husband and one adopted son, Will Ethridge of Eldora, Iowa; four sisters, Mrs. Bert Matthias, Medford, Wis.; Mrs. C. B. Allen, Pasadena, Calif.; Mrs. John Morris, Darlington, Wis., and Mrs. Catherine Churchill, Beloit, Wis., besides a number of nieces and nephews.
Deceased was a member of the M. E. Church and Sunday School where she took an active part in the work of the church until her health failed her.
The funeral was held from the Nelson Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, services being conducted by Rev. Jeffrey, pastor of the M. E. Church. Interment was in the Union Grove cemetery.
