 Weber, Anna Loretta CUBA CITY -
 Anna Loretta Weber, age 92, of Cuba City, died on Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home, Cuba City. She was born on Sept. 16, 1912, in Darlington, the daughter of John and Effie (Matley) Johnson. She married Anton "Ed" Weber on Feb. 28, 1933, at Holy Rosary Church, Darlington, he preceded her in death on July 4, 1974. Loretta was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who loved new babies and grandbabies. After she raised her own family she took in foster children. Surviving are six daughters, Alvina (Patrick) Runde of Madison, Betty Wedig, Agnes Weber and Dot Tranel, all of Cuba City, Sandra (Mike) Alt of Marion, Iowa, and Carolyn (Roger) Fries of Cuba City; six sons, Marvin (Jane) Weber of Stitzer, Vernon (Myrt) Weber, Vernon (Linda) Weber [ERROR in obituary as published: Son's name should be Verdon instead of Vernon. Vernon and Verdon were twins.], Homer (Jan) Weber and Joe (Denise) Weber, all of Cuba City, and Richard (Mary) Weber of Hazel Green; a sister, Helen Tuescher of Darlington; five sisters-in-law, Helen McClain, Marie Weber, Berniece Weber, Mary Larmour and Leonetta Weber; 46 grandchildren; and 68 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence "Buddy" Weber; three grandchildren, M. Theresa Wedig, M. Margaret Wedig, and Andrew Weber; a son-in-law, Arthur Wedig; eight brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services were held on July 15, 2005, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cuba City, with the Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery, Elk Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Right to Life and to Cancer Research.
