Note: Obituary Helen L. Tuescher Wisconsin State Journal Madison, Wisconsin December 24, 2006 Page C5 Tuescher, Helen L. DARLINGTON - Helen L. Tuescher, age 85, of Darlington, passed away on Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, at Lafayette Manor in Darlington. She was born on July 19, 1921, in Lafayette County, the daughter of John and Effie (Matley) Johnson. Helen was united in marriage to Fritz Tuescher on Feb. 15, 1939, in Monroe. She lived in the Lafayette County area all of her life where she farmed with her husband and worked as a dental assistant in Darlington for 23 years, retiring in 1983. Helen is survived by her son, Gary (Judy) Tuescher of Platteville; her daughter-in-law, Anna Tuescher of Darlington; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fritz, on Oct. 15, 1996; her eight brothers, Howard, Dwight, Clarence, Charles, Norman, George, James and Chester Johnson; her three sisters, Eva Duvall, Loretta Weber and Marie Bennett; and her son, Rodney Tuescher. Helen was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Darlington and its Women's Guild. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at 11 a.m. at IMMANUEL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST in Darlington, with the Rev. Kristofer K. Avise-Rouse officiating. Burial will be at Union Grove Cemetery in Darlington. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at IMMANUEL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST.
