Note: Obit: WAYLAND -- Pearl Shaver Treat, 96, of Lackawanna Avenue died Sunday (Jan. 13, 1985) at Noyes Hospital in Dansville following a long illness. A native of East Wayland and the widow of William Treat, she was a Gold Star Mother. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wayland, where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Survivors include one daughter, Edna Sweeney of Dansville, and two grandsons.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Chamberlin Funeral Home in Dansville, where a service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the East Wayland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church in Wayland.
