Note: d not do enough for her family and friends. She was a member of the Methodist Church and participated in its activities. In the 1970's she broke her hip, but learned to drive a car after that mishap. She suffered a mild stroke in 1996 and broke a leg the same year. As she passed 90 years of age her eyesight began to fail, but she was mentally alert and had an outstanding memory even in her late 90's. Since the spring of 1997 she had lived with her daughter Carol, and son-in-law Jim Anderson. In the winter she lived with her daughter Jane because Jim's long 1/4 mile driveway was not always passable in the winter.
