a. Note:   " in the 1880 Fed Census transcription of Livingston & Steuben Counties was the family of Wm. Schutz of Wayland b. 1842, whose parents were b. in Prussia. It is possible [?] Wm. Schutz was Juliana's uncle. Randy's Family spells it "Shutts" and says b. 1828. Lorraine Jewel Shaver says, "daughter of John (Possible) and Thankful (Possible)."
Note:   Spelled Juhana Shutes by History of Livingston County, NY by Smith, James H. He also says Stephen b. 20 Apr 1877 Wayland (28 years after he was married). Spelled "Julany" in East Wayland Cem. transcript. The only people with the spelling "Schutz
