Note: Frantisek (Frank) Skarka was the oldest son of Jan Skarka and Anna Talacko. He left for the USA in 1885 and the Czech-based family has never heard of him
again (ref. Hana Skockova, Nov. 1998). Godfather, Vaclav Blazek, peasant of
Pabenice 5, witness, Frantisek Talacko of Pabenice 13. Midwife, Anna Hamza,
Pabenice 62. To date, I have not been able to confirm his immigration date.
The 1885 reference comes from the 1900 Federal Census.
