 Died November 30, 1993
  Kenneth L. Shaver, 72, formerly of 118 Stanley Street, Mt. Morris died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1993 at the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility in Geneseo following a long illness. He was born the son of Martin and Ruth Shaver on June 28, 1921 in Wayland. He was a truck driver for more than 40 years for Howard's Express in Geneva, where he retired in 1983. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Morris and the Harvey L. Brady American Legion Post in Mt. Morris.
  He was predeceased by his beloved wife Anna in 1983. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Jim Dukelow of North Carolina, Anne and Marie and Rich Longhany of Caledonia; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Sr. and Peggy Shaver; three grandchildren, Michael Jr. and Curtis Shaver both of Nunda and Lyndsay Longhany of Caledonia; four sisters, June Dorr and Onnolee Henchen both of Dansville, Chlorenea (William) Trewer of Avon, Ruth (Tom) Stone of Nebraska; four brothers Ed (Betty) Shaver of West Sparta, Don (Rita) Shaver and Albert (Bernice) Shaver both of Fillmore, William (Dawn) Shaver of Wayland; a sister-in-law Thelma Shaver of Scottsburg; many nieces and nephews.
  Arrangements were by the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel Street Mt. Morris where prayers were said Friday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick's Church. Burial was in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Mt. Morris. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society. (GCE, December 9, 1993, p4)
