a. Note:   Max got into trouble when he was young. He robbed a gas station in Ontario and his dad said he was crazy and he was sent him to a mental hospital, where he remained most of his life. He finaly got out and was able to get a job. Notes from Harriet Galligar Cuthbert was that she took Art and Dora to visit him and that Max was very sweet
