TWO SONS, ROY OF TULSA, OKLAHOMA, VERNON OF HASTINGS, TWO BROTHERS, MILON OF HASTINGS, AND LESLIE OF COZAD. ONE SISTER, MRS CORA COOK OF LEBANON, OREGON. AND ONE GRANDSON. FUNERAL AT SOUTH SIDE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. BURIED AT PARKVIEW. ( HELEN WAS METHODIST, AND EDGAR WAS PRESBYTERIAN) ACCORDING TO VERNON TANNER, EDGAR RAN A LIVERY BARN AND ONE NIGHT IT CAUGHT FIRE AND BURNED UP THE HORSES AND EVERYTHING IN IT. EDGAR TANNER- GENRAL CONTRACTOR, BORN IN NEW YORK ON SEPTEMBER 15, 1863. SON OF JOB AND MARY TANNER. IN 1871 THE FAMILY CAME TO NEBRASKA SETTLING NORTHWEST OF JUNIATA WHERE THE FATHER SECURED A HOMESTEAD CLAIM AND ENGAGED IN FARMING. WHEN 25 , ED CONCENTRATED HIS ENERGIES UPON HOUSE BUILDING AND HAS BECOME WELL KNOWN AS A CONTRACTOR. MEMBER OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, AND METHODIST CHURCH.
