Note: N2037 Extensive fam tree and info regarding Jan Jurianse Becker's line isbased on this book: Eighteenth and early nineteenth century Beckers ofeastern New York, by Lawrence V. Rickard. Though the Hudson-MohawkGenealogical and Fam Memoirs that follows states that his grandsonmarried Sara Van Arnhem, this tree states that that "Jan JurriaensenBecker has no known relationship to Hans Jurriaensen Becker, whom Mr.Rickard refers to as the progenitor of Dutch Lineage L." Further, ofthe two Johns, the John descendant of Jan Juranse was born in 1691 andmarried someone else, two marriages in fact, neither to Sarah VanArnhem. The son John of of Hans Jurrianesen was bapt 10 Oct 1689, thedate of birth I have for Sarah Van Arnhem's spouse John. Based on thetree published I am ascribing John Becker, husband of Sarah, to be theson of Hans Jurriaensen Becker and Cornelia Van Schaik. [This information, which seems to be in error in ascribing Sarah'sJohn to Jan Jurianse Becker, is from Vol. II, pp. 628-629 ofHudson-Mohawk Genealogical and Family Memoirs, edited by CuylerReynolds (New York: Lewis Historical Publishing Company, 1911).
